Bio

Jade Nguyễn is a photographer and artist born in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and currently based in central Illinois where she received her MFA at Illinois State University. Her documentation of Vietnamese culture focuses on the ethics of representation in early photography and its relationship to colonialism through various forms of image-making.
